With hardness comes brittleness, so avoid bending your wrenches (it is possible to do this with the smaller sizes). If you should break one of your wrenches, you may continue to use it by grinding off the broken end on a fine grinding wheel. Just make certain the end is flat, and it will work fine. You can grip even tiny pieces of the wrench in the jaws of Visa Grip pliers and use them for extremely stubborn fasteners.
The military sometimes uses a super hard threadlock compound on fasteners, making removal without breaking tiny wrench sizes very difficult. To accomplish this, preheat the fasteners and threadlock with the tip of a soldering iron or a pencil tip butane torch. This will quickly soften the compound and make removal easy.
